Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

No Trust

How many of you have taken the TTUS and answered those questions about advancement and do you think there is open and honest communication? People are nervous. People are taking positions created in February as advancement only to be told in June that their job will be eliminated. You can’t tell me that someone didn’t know that when the position was created in February. So you’re forced into a corner, take a position to stay with the bank that may be less pay than what you are doing until you can find something else, or take the severance and hope to find something.

Either way, bills keep coming in, you have to keep swimming. Your direct manager probably doesn’t know what is going on. Even a level above that may not know. But there is no open and honest two way communication in USB. It’s a nervous time out there for a lot of people. Are you one of them?

Yes my former manager received absolutely horrid scores and she’s still managing people several years later. No one notices or cares.

Creating a position and eliminating it soon after is such a USB trick. Management loves this su---r move. Volunteer for something new and bold is the best way to get booted.

TTUS meant something when Richard was at the helm. Andy and his leadership team have marginalized the surveys to the point they have no importance any more. Not surprising since it's most likely the scores have fallen dramatically across all business lines, particularly under Tim Welsh.

HR does nothing with those scores ..my boss has received incompetent scores for years and he’s still here wielding his spreadsheets buffoonish as ever
