So where did you end up going ? Did you go to Country or Progressive? What things do you like better or worse then SF? Recruiters are contacting me on LinkedIn for opportunities, but are things that much better with these other companies?

Left the industry entirely. My other experience is in logistics. Went back to that and work for an amazing company. In hindsight, State Farm is the absolute worst company, followed by Allstate, I've had the displeasure of being on the payroll of.
@2zka. Very good advice. Sound!
Let me just say yes; far, far better. To avoid identifying myself, I’ll not say where I am. I remained in the insurance industry, but I’m no longer in claims.
Take advantage of the best job market in my lifetime before it ends. Bet on yourself .
Started an LLC took an office job because I was lazy initially, realized politics, and corporate feelings meant less to me than the almighty dollar. Now I work none stop, but I’m 100x more free and less stressed. I can go weeks without having a political discussion, haven’t had an altercation created by someone clearly mentally Ill or struggling with at home/work balance. Life is good. I exp’d more whackos working at the farm, than all of my first jobs from high school/ college.
State job, Department of Insurance.
