Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

What’s in the press today?

DXC spins off more businesses that they have no idea how to manage. Such losers…. Execs and Board should be fired.

There is also a news that we are selling platform-x for couple of billion dollars - it could possibly be a big boost for cash flow.

From the Original Post: "DXC spins off more businesses that they have no idea how to manage."

This implies that there are businesses that DXC does know how to manage. I disagree. The only thing that DXC knows how to manage is Work Force Reduction and laying people off.

Those people who work for elements that are sold off will have gone to a better place.

The whole Dynamics practice and IP gone built up from years of company acquisitions. Dynamics is the most popular choice for clients in 2022. It helps mid-sized clients who don't want the expense of Oracle, SAP and Salesforce and loved the UI and its ability to integrate with existing systems.

Anyway, I am sure this will generate the needed cashflow. Although the debt has now been managed down to just over a $1billion, it still faces liabilities this year that exceed its cash, resulting in a deficit again. So some cash is needed, because trying to pay off your debt when your Ebit has dropped 165.6% since last year is difficult, difficult, lemon-difficult.

No doubt they will use a small percentage of this sale to fund all the global pay rises in September. What?

Lucky are the staff leaving at EY they will get bonuses and pay raises.

Wish I was so lucky, hopefully Mike can get rid of more parts so we goto better companies, as his doomed DXC.

D-mb question but does that team represent the whole of DXC's MSFT dynamics capabilities. I just assumed it was in connection to the aquasition announced yesterday. Can't assume anything with this company... my mistake.

EY buying the Americas Dynamics Team from DXC. If MS Dynamics isn't strategic for DXC GBS what is? DXC must be in real trouble.
