Even though intel winding down optane memory business there will be no layoffs. All employees in this group will be absorbed by another groups even though skill requirements do not match. This is called great leadership by Pat. We are lucky to have him.

Optane employees are moving to AXG team. No layoffs as I mentioned in original post.
Employees like him so far. Better than the last two clowns.
Intel's recent quality issues were created before Pat as CEO. However, shifting employees into roles where skill requirements don't match .. doesn't make sense to me.
Remember that God told him one day he'd become CEO of Intel, and so he did. He's been anointed, he can't put a foot wrong.
