It is indiscriminate . I know of people in H1b's getting lay offs.

3 H1-Bs on my team were let go, please stop gaslighting people who are in difficult times.
It needs to matter if your are US Citizen or H1B when you are laid off. Companies have to certify there are no qualified US citizens when hiring H1B. And everyone would agree with that.
This is just a lame blame game. Oracle just like any other non h1b dependent employer prefers citizen because it’s easy to hire them. H1bs are getting fired too without any discrimination..As an organization, they need profit and it does not matter if you are a citizen or not. Wake up and stop posting d-mb posts

If it makes you feel any better, the H-1Bs on my team got laid off just like the others.
No surprise! H1Bs have been getting hired even though many US Citizens keep getting RIFd every single year since at least 2017 if not longer.
Oracle is truly corrupt.
