Leaving retail...

I really liked working in retail for a while. And then it became a disaster.

Do you think that other retail companies do not have the same issues as this one does?

I received an offer from another retail company, but I changed my mind and refused, because I think that it would be just a waste of time. Maybe now is the best time to leave retail.

I was hesitant when i left retail. When i started my new career i outworked everyone and actually got noticed and moved up fast in pay and position. Remember this, You were looking for a job when you found this one. Look at all the schlubs that go from job to job and get hired.

You will be back. They always come back to the sweet suckle milk of Sam.

Same here. Want to do something other than retail
Its too brutal. The apathy among sams club management and coworkers is too strong for me to stay. I am tired of the lack of care I experience from management. Poor scheduling, member rudeness, low pay and every day stress is ki----g my stength and soul. I want to move onto something new thst is inspiring.

I will be as honest and as straight with you as I can be on this. I am in this position myself. The desire to leave but for some reason don't despite all the dislikes I face everyday at my Sams. However if you are faced with wanting to leave, there is a reason why you feel this way. An inner voice is telling you it's time. Listen to it, and find your way to your purpose. It may involve a slight pay cut but you will have your sanity. Every place comes with its issues and no place is perfect. You sound conflicted and stuck like myself. I have come to realize that there is more to life then Sams and their ways and unfair tactics. You will never know what is out there until you try. Until you break away from thinking that Sams is all there is for you. This is not just smoke I'm blowing, because it's advice I'm taking for myself. Life is too short to be miserable for a company that treats you like a number. If you see daylight, go for it. You will be glad you did, just like I will be. Best of luck to you
