It actually surprises me when I see that there are still some talented people here. Does that surprise you too?
Most of them left though and I think the ratio of talented to pretenders is really bad as is, I can only imagine what's going to happen when the remaining ones leave - which is something the management should be really concerned about in my opinion.

Every department at Dell has 99 confused people and 1 guy who has been there long enough to actually know what’s going on. They’ve stopped rewarding that one guy or doing any kind of incentive bonuses, so good people are going to continue to leave.
The real way to have a good time at Dell is to just coast along doing the bare minimum like everyone else is and then lie your way to the top like the VPs did.
