Has anyone noticed the rules, cbls, company policy and work ethic has gone down hill? How about when you know all the rules but the manager tells you to break them because they don't know. Who's training those people because they will end up destroying the company.

Sams Club only has rules when they see fit to play that hand. Rules only apply or things matter more when company or a walk through is coming. Then policies matter, other then that? Do what you want.
Wait till the ones who train the new hires find out the new hires are being paid $1 or more per hour. Or the GM tells you that you can leave the company and come back after 30 days to get the same pay as the new hires. Worse is when you train them and they do very little while making that $1 or more and the managers tell you that you are the veteran and what you are doing is not working. All the while you have no team lead nor management that listens to what is going on nor hold anyone accountable.
They eliminated departments and that led to other areas taking on more responsibility. That more responsibility led to taking away time that could be dedicated to training and continuous training.
Audits, Claims, Hiring, Orientation, Training, Accounting being eliminated… Whomever baked up this ideas has to be the same ones they did that atrocious island membership desk. These clubs are barely getting by if they are following the correct way. I know for a fact you still have the same people that did accounting, PTC, and claims that are still doing it.
Too many hands in the pot with hiring and training. These new hires are thrown to the wolves instead of being paired up with either their team lead or a decent associate in their area that can teach and train for a couple of weeks.
Good observation.
