This place is very toxic. Honestly, some colleagues are causing me more anxiety than the manager. In most cases, it's the colleagues who act like some kind of policemen who monitor how much and how hard people work here. Why is that? Probably because they are the ones who advance the fastest and turn into incompetent and toxic managers.

This post makes no sense
Our head CSM is the nastiest woman on our front end, to members or associates. She favors certain people, her daughter and her grand son's mom. It's been like this since she started working here many years ago.
As far as lazy walk around and do nothing associates, we have several, short term and long term. Management knows, but nothing gets done. I used to care but why waste the energy worrying about them?
I agree to some extent. I had an angry member upset because a cos walked away from the membership desk and didnt help the line. This cos does it frequently - ("oh I got to go back"). The member had to wait longer than necessary. They wanted to shop and it was very close to closing time. I can understand since this cos has been known to be rude to members. This isnt the first a complaint about this cos has been made regarding rudeness. I have seen it in action with this cos. It is often times embarrasing and I have to hear about it. I feel like the cos team ignores the membership desk almost certainly.
Because they are trying to instill a decent work ethic right from the beginning. If you’re a slacker or don’t show any initiative by asking questions or making any effort to help you’ll be gone.
