I'm assuming SB is not going to remain as his permanent replacement in the CEO position. I'm trying to figure out who they can put at the helm of the company for the long term and to be honest, I can't think of anybody who could pull the company from the ho-e it is in right now. Any ideas who would be a good replacement?

Anybody with eyes knew he was ill last winter. If they didn’t identify a replacement CEO or strategy, the board was negligent. SB is placeholder ceo while all is done. Again, board should be sued if they didn’t plan. Anyone with eyesight knew he was ill for many months. Demonstrative of jv and his mgt team culture? that it was overtly ignored in public, despite situation was so obvious.
The only long term should be the jail sentence for these crooks and liars.
Let us not forget what these people have done, or allowed it to happen.
Suddenly now these people are the patron saint of xerox.
Not so much.
For the “long term”???? Are you kidding? There is no long term. Carl is getting his money out very soon.
Wouldn't a buyer appoint a new CEO? Or Xerox becomes a single, smaller business unit under a larger org, which already has a CEO?
Why would LP, or any CI people, stick around after a buyout? I'm sure CI has bigger and better projects for him.
If John was ill for a long time, shouldn't his illness have been public information. I'm sure CI knew, but what about the rest of the shareholders? Is it legal to keep this information private?
Headed on a path to destruction …
Actually …might have already arrived.
Great timing for 4th of July. 🎆🧨🎇
Love the fireworks for sure.
First and foremost, may JV RIP. He was part of Icahn's Praetorian Guard, paid to do exactly what he was told. Not his fault, not praising him either.
If there is -likely- a potential buyer interested in Xerox in the horizon (Fuji, HP, VC), Pastor will be the CEO. He will be at the helm to pilot the "selling" process to Fuji, based on his professional background. BTW - he is one of Icahn's “creatures", also part of Icahn Praetorian Guard. Young, good looking, clever AF, tanned by the smoke of a hundred battles in the M&A space. He is the MAN.
I’m sure that whomever it is has been in succession for quite sometime. John was I’ll for a long time, they would not have put off waiting to pick his successor.
If SB doesn't stay on as CEO they will probably get someone from Icahn Enterprises to fill the role.
Keith Cozza, president of Icahn Enterprises, just stepped down from the Chairman role on the Xerox Board of Directors, so that may be the CEO succession plan since JV was already visibly ill at that time.
Bring back UB so she can complete the destruction she started...!!!!
