This just isn't advice for allstate but any job. I'd say probably at least half of jobs including allstate will terminate you immediately. You don't have to tell anyone your plans. Also, be careful telling coworkers because word may get around. If you feel you have to tell where your going then prepare for it to be your last day and 2 weeks with no income

File a complaint with HR- sure that will work. 21 year old Ashley from HR will handle that for you.
Did you tell them you left for a competitor? If not, file an HR complaint.
I tried to give quite a few weeks notice as a huge courtesy for how many years the company employed me and they terminated me on the spot and also screwed over my peers. Sickening. Gross behavior.
I gave two weeks notice because it was the right thing to do. And yes Allstate screwed me out of two weeks of pay.
