This is pure extortion-from a CEO who pulls in 117-120 million dollars per year-to do what to build a fab hire Phd's on H1 visas/quotas-push full ego self worshipping mgrs via relocation and huge incentives to the new site - start production in 2025/26 and then ship all produced to assemble and test overseas -China, Vietnam, Malaysia etc. Great for US jobs and US technology security- hail PG way to go.

Sounds like it's time to put in for that expat assignment.

Pat would be best advised not play this card. Who knows? Maybe there is no agreement in Congress before November and he'll then have to recognize a mega fab in Europe is bad for business. I hear those EU regulations, unions, and 30-day vacations in France or Germany impact manufacturing profit margins.

Well it looks like Congress will put PG to the test. The bipartisan bill is not going to get passed so we will surely see if the Fabs go to Europe or not.

Europeans work 28 - 30 hours per week... Someone might want to give PG a clue... Intel will not beat TSMC, AMD, APPL, NVDA and others with new greenfield FAB sites anywhere in Europe (including Germany). Even the newly proposed super-site in Ohio will not provide Intel with any real advantage unless Intel HR ditches many of the existing hiring policies and works much harder to find and hire the best possible people... GLTA.

Wow, BK lovers are back in force today. If you didn’t notice, this is what every company is doing now. Not saying it’s right, in fact I hate it, but the problem is our entitlement and stimulus society.

Get ready, more inflation is on the way

Pat: We are bringing chip leadership back to the USA.

Also Pat: Oh, I meant we are only bringing chip leadership back to the USA if we get billions in handouts paid for by American working families.

Pathetic shakedown/blackmail extortion scheme by Pat Clownsinger. This bozo is behaving worse than the Big Klown ever did. Guess that's what happens when you get paid almost $200 million.
