Thread regarding Hitachi Vantara layoffs

Does HW still need talented employees?

Another colleague left. I just wonder what will happen to this company if it continues to watch the departure of the most competent ones without any interest in stopping them. Either the company doesn't know how to keep them, or it thinks it can do without them - I'm not sure. It is sad how leadership without a clear vision is destroying this company.

Most service companies are doing the same thing. Ditching project engineers because projects are expected to slow in next 24 months as corporations and governments curtail infrastructure spending.

They canceled the contrator agreement which provided over 600 Field Engineers to CS&S. What HV did next to fill the gap is even more outrageous. They came up with 12 open reqs. Susan has got to go!!!!

Lost a key team member recently and there doesn’t seem to be a plan to fill the massive gap or retain talented people. People are so overstretched it seems like we are 1-2 resignations from collapse. And most people I know are looking for other jobs so not a good situation. All comes down to out of touch leadership and bloated middle management.
