It totally doesn't make sense for me to have to explain why I'm leaving the company, especially when this company hasn't given any of the laid-off employees more detailed explanations as to why they are no longer needed. I would most like not to have any exit interview, because I don't want to lie about why I'm leaving, and TR certainly knows very well why people are leaving this place.

Mine was online too, and I didn't bother to do it. Providing them information can only hurt you, not help you.
My exit "interview" was just an online form. They couldn't even be bothered to meet with me.
What are they going to do if you say you won’t attend an exit interview. Fire you? They can’t give you a sh-tty reference because TR doesn’t give references. They will only give you a certificate of service. They can’t be relied on for those either. Still waiting for my certificate of service years later after being “promised” one. Guess it must have been a particularly busy time when I requested one, or it got lost in the mail. Best flag those exit interviews.
The exit interview isn't for your benefit. It's for TRs. They want to make sure you won't sue them for something later on, so the HR Lady is there to witness ur responses.
Did you get a live interview? I had to fill out a form and the questions were very specific and not at all about why I was leaving. I filled them in with my own thoughts anyway regardless of the question.
@1ujt+1hsGXQnp I agree with you entirely. I've worked at several companies and TR has been, by far, my worst experience. In my opinion, a lot of lazy and unmotivated managers who should have been booted out years ago. TR doesn't seem to realize management determine a company's culture.
I agree. There is hoodwinking that TR cares about employees and it a farce. Actions speak louder than words. This is the most malicious company that I have worked for in my 20 year career.
Do the exit interview and tell them exactly why you're leaving. Tell them directly they don't care.
TR is probably too d-mb to understand it.
