Learnt today that the innovation group is being disbanded, more amazing talent leaving the company, continued stream of best talent moving on to other companies due to incompetent management unable to recognise innovative thought leadership.at best working for LSEG feels like working for a mediocre company with little ambition other than driving short term revenues..

Have heard about that innovation group (when it was established). Not surprised they are gone. The investments have been going to integration. Tell me how much has been improved (data quality and quantity improvement) since Workspace has been launched? Simple answer - not much really...
Apparently they didn't do enough...
Refinitiv had an accelerator team to work with fintech’s such as ModuleQ to develop partnerships to dive new business. This team has now been disbanded. Add to this the Labs team who have been slowly dismantled and focused on supporting product team rather than what they used to do to great effect supporting customer led innovation.
Innovation group? Never heard of them. What did they do??
