Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

It will be interesting to watch SF from a distance

This company has changed a lot. Some think it will get even worse. At the moment, it's hard for me to imagine what could become worse than it is now. In what sense do you think things will get worse? Could it possibly get any worse than it is now?

I loved my job for the first 30 years I was with SF. I enjoyed serving the customers and investigating losses. My last years with the company were horrendous. I saw where the company was going and the quality of people. I would say it started in the early 90s and got progressively worse. I feel so bad for those in claims today. They will never see how SF was that made them great. I am so thankful for experiencing what it once was.

Somebody is picking and choosing numbers to look at. And ignoring other numbers.

SF leadership without a doubt in my mind are tyrants. With tyrants and politicians running the show, it can only get worse.

What good is all that record growth if the people who do that do not make the cost of living? The numbers are just numbers. You just don't get it. Take care of the workers like they used to. Records set for cookies. Really!

Continue to fail? Record growth, record production, record capital wealth, extending lead against competitors for a 100 year company. And you think that is a failure because you are unhappy. Your ignorance is only exceeded by your self perceived importance.

As long as they consider non leadership positions an expense and not an asset (for account Tipsy) it will continue to fall.

Just look at how people are in our country today. They will continue until they can no longer control the chaos or a very traumatic event takes place.
