The inside scoop is that over 50% of (non-Indian) North American employees are to be laid off. Mike 2 will walk away with a lot of money, and leave a trail of American bodies.
DXC is on its way to becoming an Indian body shop.

I was with HP, HPE, DXC for 20 years. Had a good annual review in 2021 that actually included a raise, which everyone knows is not common. Fast forward 6 months and I get a call from my boss, given 2 weeks notice, then WFR boot.
This is my fault because I didn't play the game. I knew there were financial struggles. I knew leadership was blaming accounts for not generating enough acct led growth. I know US and Canadian based resources are at least 4x more expensive. But I was the good foot soldier and did my role, made customers happy, got new logos, extensions and renewals....all the while knowing I was at the very bottom of my pay scale.
What I should have done was updated my resume and started looking for a new role. 3 months after WFR, new job, better environment, almost 30% more pay. They are leveraging loyalty and it will impact you. You are not special....maybe to your mother, but not to DXC
This is another fake news post I haven't heard of anyone from North America that's been laid off yet this year
@5ibi+1hpggFr4 Obvious steps but what about Glassdoor? DXC leaders actively encourage us to post on Glassdoor, obviously they assume all us good little worker bees will only say nice things but they can hardly punish us for doing what they ask can they? ;)
I don't care if they track me or not. I have nothing to do, but still get paid , have health benefits, paid vacation. I wont ask for more work either, My business manager should know what I am assigned and progress
Simple never use DXC assets like PC, company mobiles to surf / post content on this URL and other similar sites - they can track you and get rid of your content you write / using an untrusted / non work approved website
The contents that are written unlikely though to be libel - due to this company (was bad under CSC) going to the dogs under disastrous leadership of Mikey 1 and Mr Shouty is following in the same direction.
Write comments / surf this website from your own PC / Laptop, mobile, etc and use VPN on top - more difficult to trace.
Tacheyon tracking all you guys, so bee careeeeful. What is Tacheyon ? I only update this site from an RDP session to my personal PC, that is not on the DXC network
Tacheyon tracking all you guys, so bee careeeeful.
They have all gone underground.
Vinny Baygaal, MF from Hr, and Mike no 1 Selfino all very quite as they are the million $ men and women who can laugh at you guys when you can't afford to pay for things in this hyper inflation time.
Where is Bagel these days?
Get rid of people manager role, have employee's report to there functional lead. STOP letting accounts and customers ordering and installing anything they want.
We need to get back to having offerings that we can leverage support for. Our customers come to GIS because we are suppose to be experts, let us decide what is best to run your company on. Clients shouldn't have to deal with storage, servers , networking gear, thats our jobs
Where did you hear this "The inside scoop is that over 50% of (non-Indian) North American employees are to be laid off."? More fake bull sh-t with no substance!
Mike can easily turn this round if he wants to.
There's 2 layers of extra management, he just needs to be quick and remove them as they are adding no value and will save millions and turn the company around.
There's other savings such as real estate and process which can be streamlined.
Easily fixed if wanted.
You might blame Mike Salvino, but no-one can save it now - it is destined to ruin. You know it; they know it. They are just trying to eek it out as long as they can, because its a gravy train of inappropriate bonus for them until retirement. Sure, it would be good if things started to look up, but that would require some decisive action - now - to cut out the bad parts. But as the good parts are already gone, then the bad part is all that is left, and I hate to say it - but you gotta jump now before the ground disappears beneath your feet.
Our management layer has started to be trimmed, a few have been made redundant.
They have realised that there's to much management overhead/duplication and its actually preventing the smooth operation of the company and its very costly.
The company needs growth but the people aren't capable of delivering, turnover is heading to $14billion, less than recently forecast.
Nearly half the companies revenue has disappeared since Mike Salvino was appointed, in summary that is the achievement after 3 years.
How much more can he shrink the company?
