Fu-k the union. It protects the laziest workers, I know I just quit that sh-t show. Paying over $70 a paycheck not to get riffed. Windstream is a fu----g joke, they hire the weakest douche bags off the street. Telecom was a craft now its a joke with this company.

It’s actually 30% needed to sign. When you get at least 30% of the workers to pledge their unionization support, you can file a petition with the NLRB to hold an official election in your workplace.

A friend of mine is a union steward with the CWA for another carrier. You only need 75% of the techs for the given area (state or multi-state) to start a union.
