Despite all the problems that we had during the years and despite many sh---y decisions that have been made by the leadership, the only positive side of Hon’s business was that the company was innovative. I don’t see much of that lately. Now it looks like absolutely everything is about the bottom line and shareholder value. Could that be the ultimate nail in the coffin for HON?

Honeywell does not innovate. It buys innovative companies and destroys them.

They just moved investment to other businesses you have never heard about.
How are you measuring innovation? Patents?
Patents are at the end of innovation.
