No need to layoff, can't keep new hires, with topped out silos and secret squirrels growing roots, and staying planted like dead trees. They add zero value to the company or culture. A lot of multiple management staffing layers and micromanagement to justify their worth, just to have something to speak to when attending multiple status meetings.
