Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Walk Out

Receiving information on a walkout across the country for claims and technology groups and now hearing chatter on agents and staff walking out.

Any truth please share on what the date is?

Haven’t heard a peep about any walkouts. Please don’t confuse a walkout with an agent who goes home at lunch and doesn’t return. Pretty common occurrence

I could only imagine. The company has really put the screws to the agents. Not sure who I feel more sorry for- the long time agent who spent years building their agency or the newer folks who invested hundreds of thousands of dollars only to see the rug pulled out from under them. I’m sure the 100 or so agents who will benefit from these changes will hang on but the rest should run for the hills. There have been significant comp changes every year since 2015.

Just try to get a big Union to back yiu. That’s the only hope you have as Allstate will never step up to the plate and be decent to workers without one. Just look at the past. A Union uprising is the biggest kick in the teeth you can give to Wilson and his top executives.

Absolutely nothing. It’s the d-mbest idea ever. The train has already left the station and if you’re not on it, the joke is on you

Many agents don’t even show up at the office. What are they going to walk out of- their daily nap????

As smug and arrogant that Allstate leadership is a walkout would only make them worse. I say it would be a good thing just to regain some type of upper hand if only for a few hours. No they cant and won't terminate that many employees at once. Instead of a walk out a mass coast to coast sick day may be better. Payback is a bi--h**

Allstate is desperate for licensed adjusters right now to fill the vacancies left when they laid off thousands of adjusters . Transformative growth backfired. Morale is at an all time low. Pay sucks too.

Plenty of agents are fed up. Wouldn’t be surprised one bit.

I’m sure you can walk out but don’t be surprised if you can’t walk back in. It’s your risk to take.

You have nothing to lose to do it…They are canning the majority of American workers by the end of the year anyway….
Shut down their business…..
