I left almost a year ago and no one has asked me to return any of my equipment. I have a laptop, docking station, 2 monitors, mouse, keyboard, and lots of notepads, memos, etc. I gave more than 2 weeks' notice and never heard a word. These things are all shoved in a box in the closet. They have contacted me to ask if I want my job back, so they know how to contact me. Centene is a mess!

Leave it at the front door of a centered building with a post it on it. Write this pc has na--d pictures of the ceo on it. It will be picked up quickly.
Eventually some corporate suck-up with let Centene know about this chatter and the no help IT department will have to run an inventory report, which will take a couple of months. Once the inventory is done the missing equipment will be reported to managers, who are all new and do not know any of the former employees or how to contact them. A few months later HR will have to try to contact people but they will be busy with massive layoffs so temps will be hired to do it. Temps do not care and nothing will be done.
Do the right thing. Call in and tell the help desk so at least it’s in record that you tried. Document the day and time and who you spoken with. If they never call back, keep the equipment. .
I left earlier this year. Only things they wanted back were my cell phone, a chromebook, and laptop. I sent back my printer, two hotspots, and a second older cell phone too. I kept the single monitor. I was told I could keep it and it would not fit in the box. Try contacting HR and see if they will send a box and shipping label for the larger electronics. They will send a separate shipping package for the phone.
It took 4 weeks, but they mailed 2 large boxes and 2 return labels to my house. I packed it up and shipped it out.
They can track it. Doesn’t matter if you wipe it clean there are TPM chips that phone home whenever it’s connected to anything.
Don’t risk being charged with theft. Intentional ignorance isn’t defensible and could get you in trouble - even if it’s the fault of IT/CNC.
I was part of the WellCare/Marketing layoff in mid-2020. I had to BEG REPEATEDLY for a box to send back my things. It took three months to get a box and FedX ticket. They only wanted the laptop back, not the dock or the monitor. Had I sat around, I would have had a very nice and new high end HP laptop. Since Centene was a Dell shop, those who stayed would be sending back their HPs from what I heard ... to be junked.
same thing happened to me. I kept contacting them and nothing. still have everything waiting for them to send label, but the equipment (especially laptop) is probably obsolete.
A whole year later no contact! How am I a thief? They can waste their own gas and come pick it up or send boxes. I have a 2 week notice so the company had plenty of time to figure it out. Goes to show how lazy they are.
If you kept all of that equipment, you're a thief.
I was part of the layoff in early 2021 and they sent me boxes about a week later to return my equipment. That is weird they didn't contact you.
I left last year and still have the WFH stuff. And I never got my desk items back either.
