Literally there this morning and now gone, a thread that started I work in HR and they can deny you severance and possibly unemployment if you refuse employment when the department is outsourced. Are you afraid of retribution?

To the person who said there is no way an HR person is stupid enough to make public info confidential, have you actually worked with Allstate’s HR? If you have, you’d know we are not dealing with the cream of the crop.
They don’t want to read the severance document because then they won’t be able to complain on this site
The information is not secret. Read the severance plan document.
Regardless the mods that removed the post should explain their actions as to why it was removed. It had some very beneficial information and the way it was presented and the details it seemed like it was accurate and not trolling.
Probably taken down for impersonating. As far as I can remember, the thread did not start with “I work in HR” (personal post), but with “HR here” like speaking on behalf of HR, which can be liable).
They were probably just full of it
I was wondering the same thing. That is certainly important layoff related information and it should not have been deleted. It definitely was more related to layoffs than the "do you like working from home" or the "ACRONYMS" threads. And since this site is anonymous the HR person has nothing to worry about.
Would like to see an explanation from the mods regarding why a thread within the rules of the site and very relevant to Allstate layoffs was removed.
The easiest way to get terminated is to make public confidential company information. There is no way an HR employee is stupid enough to do something like that
