Toxic and Discriminated, Forced to Quit

It's really sad when your boss makes it so miserable that you want to quit, BUT i will not... He calls you out on topics that are not within your power to work and enjoys gaslighting you in meetings. Then we have another co-worker who yells at people in a call and he doesn't do anything to him. I feel bad for my other coworker. She just lets him yell at her and does nothing. What is really sad is our boss is on the call. He just jokes about it afterward. This is a toxic environment to work at... Now i know why so many posts talk about doing the bare minimum. Next layoff is in August.

Does not matter what your grades were from some boomer, corporate simp were. Nor the bravados, and other corporate gimmicks to make lackeys work even harder. We are losers on a sinking ship, rudderless, and clueless. The MSM propaganda has duped many, and this will not change in the massive mistake.

I was rated a 5 in MAP in February 2021 (all my 10 years were 4 or 5), forced to resign in June 2021 because an offshore male manager didn't like my assertiveness in speaking up, regardless of how professional and respectful I presented. Prior to that, a U.S. male colleague called me a "B**ch" in a meeting in front of everyone.. I went to HR - nothing was done. But, when I called out that a competition to send the most Bravos and receive the most Bravos in a 3 day timeframe made them feel "disingenuous", I was forced out... told to leave or be terminated for "unprofessionalism" .. because it was a male manager from India who came up with the contest and, while many U.S. employees thanked me for calling this out, leadership took a different approach. From a valid, earned 5 to unemployed in 4 months with 10 years of stellar performance disregarded. I used to be proud to work for UHG/Optum.. what I've seen take place in the past 3 years is repulsive.

doesn't matter if you've been there for 60 years. They do NOT care about employees. They are too busy marketing, propagandizing, diversity rainbows theater, missionary aims, and more woke joke bs. eventually reality will set in , and then it's too late baby, it's too late. they never learned, it was part of their charm.

I left there a few months back. BEST decision I ever made. Initially, management is nice and welcoming, but the longer you’re there and the more you do, they take advantage of you. My manager started treating me differently and not for the better. Finally, I’d had enough. I feel incredibly valued now and so much happier at my new job.

I had worked there for > 15 years. Received rave reviews, exceeded expectations in all categories on annual reviews, mentored new nurses, and completed all assignments. Micromanagement became extreme, atmosphere became toxic, and revolving door of resignations spun faster. Age discrimination was very apparent. Even when I thought that things couldn't get worse, they did. I quit and it was one of the best decisions of my life.

Inflation is "fake news"? We know most MSM is propaganda, but the huge inflation is real. Why are there so many teammates that are such company simps and do gooders? It's NOT your company. We're just employees who are barely treading water. 1-2 paychecks away from destitution between all the taxes, fees, debts, etc..etc.. what a septic tank of "life"

I agree with the HR approach years ago I was under the thumb of my Director and targeted me. They actually tried to put me on a Cap and long story short I reported them. It may have saved my job. They had to delete it because it wasn’t true. I was able to post out and get from under the thumb. When you report it stick to facts and they have to address it.

The company pushes employees to partake in community service events and makes sure that gets blasted all over to give a fake front they actually care about other human beings. There has only been information issued that inflation is fake news and giving 8.6% increases, or any inflation assistance for that matter, is not going to occur. They know how horribly disgruntled all staff are so they are doing on camera “happy hours” and asking we still submit bravos to uplift our peers- such a joke.

Is the corporation helping any team mates with gas expenses? Allowances, reimbursements etc? The country has poor infrastructure and we need to get to work. The buses (IF they even are present in the regions) are frequently late, absent etc.. What is the corporation doing to help American workers due the massive inflation?

It's employment at will in the US empire. Employees have very few if any employment rights unlike any other developed country. The best thing to do is to leave the toxic sht pit.

Don't quit, let them lay you off or try and fire you.... It's easy to when a case against them due to the discrimination. Document, record it and print out the evidence. There are plenty of legal cases against this company.... SNAFU
