are all field technician job postings for Lumen union ? the job description does not seem to be for residential installer of internet/tv/voip but maybe more business special services or outside plant work.

Do not, under any circumstances, take a technician job with Lumen that is not a union job. Pay raises are non-existent for non-union employees. The only group of employees at Lumen that get annual raises are union technicians. They are also paid higher than non-union technicians. They also have much higher on call pay.
same with the IBEW
Lumens hiring enhanced premise techs. It’ll say that in the job title. Possibly a national job title you’re looking at in which case it’s non union. Or it’s as a scab contractor for Lumen. Which obviously is non union.

If the posting lists a salary range then it's non union.
