Has anyone in Elavon/payment services been laid off or heard of any upcoming layoffs?

It doesn't matter, the payment services leadership team has no idea what payments are all about, they are constantly having to be taught how it all works, payments is in worse shape than the U.S. economy and as inept as the SLT is, they are not as incompetent as the people that put them there in the first place.

Most of the payments talent and leadership in Europe had already left the company, migrating to other European based processing providers over the last six (6) months, unaffiliated with any single banking entities, whilst the remaining work force continued their roles working remotely during municipal lockdowns or other restrictions not allowing return to office.

Very early but several departments are communicating to their teams they have to cut up to 20% in their departments. Europe may take a heavy hit.
