I think that this could be a much better company, if only the leadership was to finally start making better decisions. However, Anthem seems to have lost their direction. Is it that they are not interested in the future of the company, or maybe the decisions about changes that are necessary for the company are too risky?

When you hire leaders over 60, you get anthem.
Anthem is doing great, stock is up morale is up and overall the people are happy!
Too many new leaders looking to prove their worth and get stocks paid out in <3 years, ‘strategy’ people spouting half-baked ideas / chasing shiny ba--s, and people who do not know how to build teams or products. Most leaders who have been around for a while know to keep their heads down, not get caught up, and get tactical stuff done. Others are there to kowtow and collect the next big bonus payout. Those who get the work done get screwed on multiple levels by being split between - unreal expectations, siloed capabilities, petty politics, and short-sighted decisions. It all trickles down to poor provider trust and member outcomes. We need better leaders all around.
