I am in contact with former colleagues who are now in other companies and I must admit, I am surprised how much more some of them are now paid than they were here.
How much of a pay increase did you get after leaving HV? The only thing here that is increasing are the expectations from employees every day.
Following 7 years at HV been with two companies since and salary is up 125%. Sad to see the way things have turned out for a once brilliant engineering company, but I've never looked back and glad I made the move.

HV doesn’t know what talent is, let alone keeping it.
HV pays 350k for employees like me doing much about nothing. I am significantly under paid
Almost tripled, went from HV to a tier 1 tech company. I know even Sr Directors who get paid a lot less than a L6 at FANG. Only stay in HV if really like it there.
My compensation more than doubled after being laid off from HV. Hindsight being 20/20 I should have been looking for employment way before being laid off as it was getting worse by the day. My experience was HV treated technical talent very, very, poorly. Being laid off was the best thing that happened to me. At the time severance was good. I knew I had a strong technical background and wouldn't take much effort to find other employment. I also knew I would find a better position and better compensation.
my comp has tripled since leaving HV. You are likely heavily underpaid if you are in a tech role.

Hitachi Vantara has problem holding onto good talent and has no clue on trying to rein them in.
Asking for how much other got paid outside is meaningless unless you share with us your position, level & salary.
I could say I got 30-35% increases, but my job may be different.
