A lot of senior people do nothing and get paid without contribution. Younger talents do heavy work and get paid much less. I see every day people leaving only because of money .Just lay-off grade 7 8 9 slackers and give opportunity to young people to lead the company. Intel cannot survive while having sooooo much $$$ waste paying literally to engineers ding nothing!!!

You may find that high-grade, experienced employees have tried to "lift" Intel into a better position only to watch the credit taken by others of preferred status. Eager, new employees will wear down when they realize that people only care about their own career.
Time tells all truths. There's no place left to hide for Intel's leaders.

I am in grade 10. I should be paid for past contributions I made to intel. Why you guys want us (senior team members) to fired if CEO is happy to keep us. We still contribute by attending meeting and making powerpoint slides.
The job of of an intel pe/fellow is to outsource powerpoint slides to the technical assistant so he can hold court with his fellow third-worlders in the cafeteria.
You get raises when you change jobs. Get skills. Change jobs. That's your raise. If you think you're going to float up at Intel, you're dreaming.
Some departments Gr8 does heavy lifting and gets pay bump peanuts, never gets promoted. What can you do? Leave?
It's not about being old or young. It's about the kind of people Intel likes to promote.
And guess what, these good for nothing high grades just got promoted to PEs and VPs. And they expect the working class to take this positively and work for them.
