I’m gone now, but I want to warn people thinking about going into the BD side about one of the VPs involved there who is also the chief geo - don’t do it. The guy will stab you in the back faster than you can count to three. He has an ego the size of a small planet, and is in way over his depth. He seems to take pleasure in trying to wreck careers. The sooner he is retired the better.

At least BD isn’t half as bad as one of the directors in GSC.
Does anyone else find his large, squished head distracting? Talk about head-space, am i right?
Don’t forget that Land to her those were bad acquisitions and once she got in charge of Land she fired those who had previously disagreed with her. Who was right? They kept her because she checks the boxes for “inclusion.” We lost some of our best landmen because of her ego.
You could always just over pay for cr-p acquisitions and when things get tough, end up getting promoted to the VP of Land.
