Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

Should I Stay or Should I Go

I don't work there, but my money is there. After reading posts from employees, I'm questioning if it should be. The workforce there sounds discontent.

I agree. If you want product review, this is not the right forum. You will see a lot of people complain here because in their hearts they all want to be at a better place, making better products that benefit the customers and themselves. I do see this everyday. We do disagree on how to get there. We do disagree with management that is stuck in the old ways. But, you will only find marginal difference in eventual outcomes of your money between investments at Fidelity or elsewhere. You should also give feedback on what you would like to improve. Not here - the main fidelity site has plenty of places to do so.

Regards - a much maligned millinial

I've worked there over 15 years. I come to this page as a voyeur. Every company has issues and every company has employees discontented. I'm proud to work there the name Fidelity means something to me. Let's put it this way you can leave your purse unattended at work. I like 90 percent of folks I work with and trust a higher percentage.

IMO depends on where you have your money. Ample products here, but if it is just a general brokerage account everything about it is competitive and vanilla vs. competitors.

The company is not woke at all. It’s a mediocre company dominated by fly over America and contractors from India.

Great question. When I leave, my money is coming with me. The company is too woke.
