For those like me affected by layoffs: If you don’t receive an email with your Workday home access link the day after your job elimination date, call to get it re-sent so you can sign your severance agreement. They claimed to have emailed it but I never received it, so they sent it “again” so I could access and DocuSign the paperwork. Nobody needs a delay on that payout or worse yet for any consideration period (45 days I believe) to expire. I had no problem connecting with a pleasant human who helped me out.

To answer question below- I received a lump sum severance payment 25 days after I signed the agreement - on the next regular payday schedule after they had processed my paperwork. It was direct deposited like my regular paycheck and I got a print paystub in the mail.
Yes, there is a “known” problem with the non working link instructing how to setup your workday account (IF you received the email). Must call service center, long wait times but they are very helpful.
The payout should be on the next payroll -August 5th.
Question:
When you say you got your “ payout” after 25 day.
Is that mean, you received a lump sum payment for your severance? One check?
I received my payout 25 days after I signed the agreement.
Any ideas when is the severance payout? I signed immediately on 7/22.
Such shadiness with the recent layoffs.
For garde 16 and below it is two weeks for every year only if you have been with the bank 15 years. Otherwise only one week.
Thanks for sharing. I am a grade 16 as well. Surprised , i thought that severance was 2 weeks per year of service. I have about 15 years total.
I received 1 week pay per full year of service (12 weeks for 12 years) plus a prorated bonus for the part of 2022 that I worked. 6 months of job placement support from Lee Hecht Harrison which I fortunately didn’t need. Health insurance through the end of the month of my term date.
Grade 17 and above get more. I was a 16.
Would anyone be willing to share the general details being offered in the severance package? 11 years at USB looking like this may be my last from the most recent rumblings.
Had the same experience!
