Being good at what you do will be a burden at MetLife. You will be perceived as a threat by everybody around you and they will make sure to make your life a living he-l. I've never had to deal with such a toxic work environment in my life - and just for being good at my job!

"Can’t shift .. am fairly new here. Will look bad on my resume."
Honestly it won't. It wasn't an issue when I moved from a job I had only been at for 2 years before applying to Met. All you have to say in the interview is "My current employer is in the process of reorging," and everyone nods and moves on from that topic.
Totally Agree. Lot of politics by the old folks. They feel threaten by the new joiners and always looking to put them down and throw weight around. Can’t shift .. am fairly new here. Will look bad on my resume.
Applying for a job right now that would be a 20% raise and full remote. Wish me luck.
"People don't leave jobs. They leave toxic work cultures"
I left and received a 15% raise!
(Many others have similar results Some even received bigger increases)
