In the past, I really tried to do my job to the best of my ability, but after a while I became so disappointed with this company, that is, in the way it was managed. At this point I think layoff would even be a relief for me. How many are there who secretly wish to get cut?

“Lay me off! Lay me off!” Are you f’ing kidding me asking, “who secretly wishes to lose their job and career?” You need Sensitivity Training.
It is easier to get hired at a new place while you have a job. If you are unhappy then you need to not have fear and get another job!
