Not a single Ford on list of best Hybrids and EVs

Does anyone wonder why Ford doesn’t make the kids?

From US News and World Report:

With gas prices on the rise, you may be looking to make the switch to a hybrid or electric vehicle. When choosing a hybrid or EV, you need to take certain factors into consideration that you don't have to think about with a traditional gas-powered vehicle, such as charging rate and EV mileage range.

U.S. News & World Report took these factors into consideration, as well as starting price and fuel economy, when selecting its picks for the 2022 Best Hybrid and Electric Car winners.

Best Electric Vehicle: 2022 Kia EV6
Best Luxury Electric SUV: 2022 Tesla Model Y
Best Luxury Electric Car: 2022 Lucid Air
Best Hybrid Car: 2022 Toyota Prius
Best Hybrid SUV: 2022 RAV4 Hybrid
Best Luxury Hybrid: 2022 Lexus ES Hybrid
Best Plug-In Hybrid: 2022 Hyundai Tucson Plug-In Hybrid
Best Luxury Plug-In Hybrid: 2022 Volvo S60 Plug-In Hybrid

Tesla makes garbage. Three of the four Tesla models are NOT recommended by Consumer Reports, saying they are among the least reliable in the US. At least Consumer Reports has a method for testing vehicles. I have zero confidence in US News and World Report's ability to test or recommend anything. https://www.motorbiscuit.com/1-tesla-model-recommended-consumer-reports/

Whenever a "newspaper" decides what the best vehicle is, I already stop reading. Those magazines have been writing sh*t for decades. In Europe, they told everyone VW is the great winner until there was a whistleblower showing proof it was all corruption and blackmail. I also don't see why a Lexus competes with a Kia but ok... that's just me i guess.

Ford is new to the EV game and they will have to proof themselves like the other ones. Japs have a head start on quality, although their quality has declined also. Ford bumped itself into the wall. Tesla and Lucid are laughable in terms of production numbers and price. So yeah...

Guess you lose the endorsement if you have to park the EV outside to mitigate risk of fire. No surprise but huge disappointment.

Ford only leads in complexity, recalls, and wokeness.

HV battery issues should start emerging soon. They have been latent, up to this point.

There will never be a Ford of this list, until Farley (or his replacement) does something to fix the quality issues affecting every single one of our vehicles.
