Love sweet freedom, shine down on the lackeys. Let's keep that spirit alive. Love that sweet corporate freedom, shine that filthy trash on us teammates. Let's have a snack train and work without a brain, get a10$ charred "coffee" card, work really hard.

They certainly have a bottomless pit of cash to pay vile CEOs and other shysters, and war de jour endlessly, but American workers get the shaft since its' inception

A company worth 5 billion and a CEO worth over 50 million yet Patient are constantly being denied coverage. Doctors and Pharmacies complaints about unfair pay. For example, UnitedHealth care paid 15.7 million to settle mental health benefits parity case not too long ago. Company was also sued for spread pricing in Louisiana for over charging Medicaid. There's a list dating back many years of unethical behavior that effects everyone! Your pay, your bonuses, patients coverage, patients copay, Doctors and pharmacies pay, LAYOFFS, program shutdowns, department closures and the list goes on. They fail to take accountability and often fight against anyone in their path. They don't care who they hurt in the process. Makes employees and everyone else feel like they are the problem. If you think the grass is greener with a different corporations well you're wrong. This is our reality. The stock Market

If the profits are "good"--then what the US workers left with? empty promises, layoffs, decreasing if any "benefits". We 're not getting a piece of that profit pie. We're getting ex------t. Remember, the US empire has privatized our well being ("health" "care") for corporate profits. It's a market. The shlock market. why america failed-great book

"If things are so good:"

Why?
Maybe all those questions you listed among other things for sure are the reason this is a $5 Billion dollar company. The market is a strong powerful entity and maybe that is the number one agenda over everything else.

If things are so good:

  • Why all the layoffs and aggressive offshoring to cheap (especially quality-wise) countries?
  • Why are wages at Optum so low?
  • Why is there so much tolerance for corrupt and toxic management ?
  • Why does Optum have SO MUCH management?

A healthy bottom line means nothing if everything else about the company is an absolute tapestry of misery and he-l.
