Does AT&T plan to do anything from a pay increase standpoint to help it’s workforce battle inflation? McElfresh has commented in his last two town halls that they (Santone) were looking at it and we would see action, I haven’t seen or heard anything. I know increasing pay comes with potential job cuts to fund it. However T has quietly raised cost (ex. next up increase $5 to $6), so where is that money? Alot of companies in the technology world are bumping folks 5%+. Non related fields are doing it too with greater % increase. I have no confidence or reason to believe we will see a raise to battle inflation but it’s worth asking.

Talk to our Union. They are the ones that wasted our $$$ getting Sniffy elected.
After the current trend in rising prices subsides and prices trend downward - assuming T gives you an increase will it be okay to take it away when prices return to “normal”
I have cut my working hours back by 10% so I still make the same per hour.
Given this is a layoffs board, are you recommending that ATT lays off people in order to give raises to the remaining employees? This would fight inflation in a big way. The laid off people would have less to spend, driving consumer prices down in the long run.
Can’t believe Leg T agreed earlier this year for another 4 years of 2.75% average increases. Everyone knew inflation was coming. QUICK, SIGN! AND GET THAT SWEET $500 BONUS.
The majority of T employees are already extremely overpaid for their current skill level, so no salary adjustments are needed.
NO, Getting a raise will further the rise of inflation. Toughen up go get a side job to cover the 9%
I heard that ATT is going to lower cell phone plan costs to help fight inflation.
Why? You’ll either stay with the pay you have or choose to leave. Either way they win.
This was asked before and the answer was that it was already adjusted in our “higher than usual” 2022 raises. So that 1% extra that you may or may not have gotten after supv adjustments based on rankings.
You can't believe anything McElfresh or Santone say. If their lips are moving, they are lying. They care about one thing, enriching themselves, that's it.
