Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Recession probably starting 3rd quarter...plan accordingly

With the latest CPI report , I wouldn't be surprised if the Fed raises another 1% .

All this to say with the recession looming, we can expect T to "rightsize" in the near future. I would plan wisely especially if your in a non revenue producing division.

Maybe take most of your vacation, or adjust 401k contributions or just pome around and see what other jobs are there.

The economy is in shambles, time to re-open the keystone pipeline. Biden doing nothing but exhibiting the depends shuffle. Hard to believe anyone thought this guy was presidential material.

We’re already in a recession. Klaus an-l Schwab and his gang of merry men have declared a war on fossil fuels. Diaper Joe is one of their cronny’s along with many others

That's why the government was printing and giving away money because they knew they would get it back with interest

Always looking to blame someone else. Never taking responsibility. Your keys to success.

This is the result when the president of the free world has late stage dementia. Congrats.

It is obvious but no one is officially going to call it until they have no choice, it is an election year (Not a partisan comment)

Yep. Dems don't want to admit it because they'll be held responsible because it happened on their watch. Repubs don't want to admit it because they'll own having to fix it when they replace the Dems in upcoming elections.

We are in stagflation. Much worse than a recession. Think 1970's style economy.

It’s going to a rough second half of 2022, probably into the new year. If you haven’t saved those pennies you are in for a deep financial hurt.
Best of luck to everyone.

Inflation is not going anywhere.
You can argue that we are in a recession now but certainly by Q3 it will be obvious.
