I am more than frustrated. Venting here won't help me, but I wonder if anyone else has to deal with a manager who constantly gives different instructions, which is why you have to constantly rework things in the end? Terrible incompetence! I'm starting to hate this place.

Nope. Not here. I do things once and only once. If it isn't how it was supposed to be done due to an incompetent leader then tough. He/she can do it again themselves. I never rework what is already worked. I tell them to re-do it themselves. I don't get paid enough and it doesn't prevent these clowns from laying us off.

You probably just need to get over it. Most managers and leaders at Allstate were put there because they know what to say to the folks above them. That doesn’t necessarily make them qualified to lead but that’s just the way it is. Not bad people, they sometimes have a different agenda than the employees they lead
