Any rumors of COP is going to give a salary increase due to inflation? Exxon gave a raise early June of 3%. That’s not much but at least they got something.

I can't believe this question was even posted. Really?!? This is COP and you should know the answer to that!!!
now Shell is getting an 8% bonus post Q2. . . . headed to COP?
They cut our salary in 2020, there are plenty of reasons to give a COLA OF 3-5%.
After the taxation, you would be left holding just a one-time check for <= $4k in most instances for us peons.
I hope COP would do something better for us, but it doesn't seem likely at this point in the year.
I spoke with a friend from XOM yesterday about it. It was a 3% bonus, it came just before their version of the 'perspectives' survey, it is taxed as a bonus, it will not become part of their base compensation. XOM employees leaving in droves, worse that at COP.
Exxon got a 3% bonus. Not raise.
12% increase approved for the contractors and the contingent workforce in Alaska. Not
For employees tho?
I’ll believe it when I see it.
We rode the wave of salary and promotion holds. But now that company is making money hand over fist, nothing. If I were king for a day, I would throw the company a bone and toss a 3% across the board increase (no more, no less) just as a sign of goodwill. But they are probably watching signs of a recession coming to US and once you increase salary, you can never take it away. But in grand scheme of things, salaries are ~5% of annual expenditure. Tough call, but would go a long way towards satisfaction and retention.
Yes, raises have been approved for everyone who affects the price of oil.
