I try not to worry ahead of time, but still I am slowly looking for new opportunities. What do you think are the least stable jobs here?

Not true. ICE will be here for awhile. The least stable jobs will be the ones that are working from home, and just using Excel and Power Point meetings.
Least stable? Anything that is only required for internal combustion engines.
I tell my grandchildren to choose a job where you have to be present to work - in other words one that can’t be outsourced. Plumber, HVAC repair, electrician, welder, crane operator etc. Most of these professions need workers as boomers retire.
You may want to think about what interests you have and take training to prepare. Don’t limit yourself to Ford jobs.
I told my children to be engineers and computer programmers. That was bad advice as their jobs are being offshored and they are stressed out.
Anything that can be easily outsourced as a temporary stop-gap prior to fully automating. If you're doing nothing all day but putting Excel files together and PowerPoints, I'd be a bit more focused on learning stronger skills.
Nothing positive I could say. Unprecedented times is what it is. Major greed destroying what we built, major inflation. Europe gonna die the Energy death. Russia expanding with warfare. China sitting idle until...
Maybe start digging a ho-e? Otherwise, look to move to a different state. That's for sure. Could also switch industries, since automotive starts to suck somehow. Maybe a battery supplier? Sure enough, we will all be switching around a lot more. Experts say have a passive source of income lol.
