Don’t bother filing any associate relation concerns. HR has such a backlog it takes them 7+ weeks to respond and then they encourage you to withdraw your concern because of their delay. HR department is contracted labor, they could care less about associates.

I can tell you from inside HR, the implementation and go-live for Workday should go down as the worst in history. Soooo many pieces left out of consideration, very little training, no one has answers or even knows who to go to in order to get the right answers! It's been an utter sh-t show.
start backing up your files and documentation, Don't Bother, once they work through their backlog, they will fire you they did that to me when I reported my manager for the same toxic is the culture they like.
Start filing reports with eeoc and other boards that anthem is shorting people their pay.
Finally had a chance to look at the new Workday paystub tonight. So confusing and in some cases, incorrect. One of the worst conversions I have seen so far. They should have asked for volunteers to help review before and after results before implementation. Did the rounding algorithm change? I noticed several deduction amounts decreased by one cent.
WorkDay just absolutely blows. And I'm not even talking about all of the issues with incorrect payment amounts or incorrect PTO calculations. They'll eventually figure those out (although the fact that they happened at all is a whole separate issue!).
And I understand that it takes people time to get used to new apps and tools too. That's not the issue. That just comes with time, use and familiarity. It's to be expected with any change.
The issue is that this particular tool is just not user friendly at all. What used to take one or two clicks now takes you more, and then you have to scroll through useless garbage before you even get to what you want. And even then you have to scroll thru different parts of the screen because it's not formatted well at all. It is just a high end junk application in general.
They promise you all of this functionality and reporting tools and "all in one" capabilities, but in the end, for 99% of the users, it is a huge step backwards in "real" functionality. But hey, someone, somewhere way up high can now get a fancy new report, which they'll stop looking at within two months. Meanwhile, the company is stuck with an expensive new "toy" and the rest of us have to waste extra time and effort using it for what used to be a two minute task.
Yet another genius level decision. I wonder what this one cost.
I’ve heard former employees have disappeared from workday. Any news if this is being fixed? At some point I’ll be eligible for a $75 per month pension, which could pay or help with at least one utility in retirement.
(As a former employee I’ve heard the in-house HR team are all frustrated as well). Please remember most HR people are doing their best, no control over leadership decisions, but are dealing with the changes. Good Luck!
This was not in regards to payslip or workday issues.
I reported my manager for creating a toxic environment.
I am dealing with the same paycheck error. They shorted my check and today I was told it’s d/t the smoker surcharge. I am a non smoker and it even says that in peoplesoft & workday. I opened my HR pay discrepancy case 11 days ago and the rep assigned will not respond to my messages. I have had to call AND chat with HR just so they can stick a pacifier in my mouth while telling me I need to be patient bc of the new system and there is no ETA of resolution.
HR is a joke and so is there new "workday" site. They took money out of paycheck in error and they're saying they don't even know if I will be refunded. This is conplete BS and I'm fighting to get it back!
Well they may 'test' but it may be one or two people poking around making sure things look ok . Lol. This is complete BS maybe they want us to leave. Take care
Workday is absolute A$$. Once again Anthem AKA Elephant Health cant bother to test implementation before going live. HR can't be bothered with issues, and we all get stuck paying for it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, unless you hate your employees and, in Elephant's case, they hate us very much
Are you referring to the ' pay slip' fiasco. How the new algorithm calculated differently. Some folks are short 30 $ and dealing with this HR. I'm so sorry to those experiencing it. Blessings.
