Just announced another new hired VP, that manage two existing VPs, and report to a SVP, who reports to COO then to CEO
VP or higher, already 5 layers.
Guess VPs will do all the works.
What a joke!

If I worked at Riverbed I’d be polishing my resume
If I were a VP that got a new VP as a boss, I'd be polishing my resume. If that isn't writing on the wall, I don't know what is.
"Or are many of you forgetting the dotcom bust years when wishful hires though they would become millionaires only to have their dreams dashed?"
Some did become very wealthy when Thoma Bravo took us private. Just think back to the people who left straight after - folks who had been around since the early days did very well when their options were bought back.
Everything after that was a mix of mismanagement, weak strategy and decline.
Most upper mgmt hires do not get the salary they want and is compensated with an annual personal and business performance bonus with this monopoly $. Whoever falls for the latter we should feel sorry for.
Equity? Any quantity of ‘stock’ X $0 still equals zero. Or are many of you forgetting the dotcom bust years when wishful hires though they would become millionaires only to have their dreams dashed?
I just hope these new hires aren’t being paid in equity…
BA and patroniziation, name a more iconic duo.
BA knows everything. He's done this before, it's so easy, the team is just so obviously missing the most basic things. He's totally not making it up as he goes while riding a high horse with no practically impactful strategies or ideas. It's everyone else's fault obviously.
Don’t get me started on Agnes. He is absolutely responsible for the loss of some very good people, before Apollo was ever in the picture.
I’m starting to get inklings that Apollo is worse than TB. Either that or Bob Agnes is a tool that’s good at letting talent go.
Hiring VPs from outside will expedite the sinking, promote those who remains, and hire juniors can slow down the process.
LOL. More VPs need to be hired so the sh&@$)t can still roll downhill. Mostly they are outside hires from outside the industry because most of the talent from the middle levels left already.
Why on earth would anyone still be working there?
"10 minute attitude readjustment therapy? wot??"
Yeah, ex-Riverbedder here dying to know what fresh he-l they've come up with now.

More veeps, just the extra deadweight we need. What impact has this crack management team had on my life? Well seeing good people leave and no promised backfills for certain, got to say I work harder now than ever before, it’s a treadmill day in day out. To add insult to injury a mandate is beamed down from the almighty informing us that we must make time to endure 10 minutes of attitude readjustment therapy. We all need to talk the talk you know. The only individual I know that takes any interest in Riverbed is my dog and that’s only because he ate the free socks. I’ll practice on him. I don’t know who I am working for anymore, our execs have disconnected from reality and are floating off in a technicolor BS balloon of their own making.
