Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

I think the majority can't wait to be cut

I think that X has become the company where employees are the least disappointed when they are cut. Perhaps I'm wrong, but it seems to me that no one wants to work here anymore and everyone is hoping for a package. Just out of curiosity, how much longer would you have stayed if you hadn't been cut?

I was mildly relieved to be IRIFed at the height of the Pandemic in 2020, mostly due to ongoing concerns of contracting COVID. My RIGP pension had hit it's all time high and in hindsight, so grateful that Xerox pushed me out when they did. Had I stayed beyond 2021, my RIGP lump sum would have taken a huge hit. Anyone of you that are closely tracking your RIGP valuations have seen a steady decline this year and ironically, had I not been let go almost 2 yrs ago, my lump sum would have cratered almost 20% due to the recent rise in interest rates. Scary to imagine where RIGP valuations will be at the end of 2022 after the projected 2-3% in total rate increases by the Fed Reserve in the 2nd half. This is one instance when an IRIF really does benefit the employee.

Would be great if someone asks in upcoming townhall meeting when all our jobs will move over to HCL. I need a timeline. Obviously our direct executive team will tell you everything is fine as they need us to work as hard as we can until that date. Hate this place.

I waited and waited to be cut so I could get the severence and collect for a bit to take a few off but it didn't happen.
So I left, traveled for a bit and found a new job.

I wish I hadn't quit XBS sales but a girl can only handle being asked out daily for steaks and beers for so long . Monsters . but I wouldve staid as long as we had prod mf coming in. I hear your gears always on restraint now :0
