Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

This place drains all my energy

Honestly, I thought that this would never happen to me, that I knew how to set boundaries, that I knew how to stand up for myself... I haven't been here long, but Allstate has drained all my energy. How many people here put their work here before their personal life? I'm almost sure it's the majority of the people here. And that is very wrong.

I hate it here. The layoffs in 2019-2020 were great for the company, horrible for the people still behind. I was over 35 people before, now over 120, and no increase in pay. Sure, leave, but being the main breadwinner in the house, that's easier said than done. I'm looking, but getting more and more disillusioned by the day.

Of course the op is from claims. 99% of the whining comes from them because they apparently work too hard at being rude to customers and never return calls. It’s hard work complaining on this site all day.

I think it depends on the department you are in. I'm in asdu and my work life balance is great. I just work 40 hours a week and separate work from home easily. Now from coworkers that changed departments I have heard claims for example is awful
