It's that time again folks! Our desperate Execs are looking for their bonuses and looking to position Gainwell for sale and realizing that they set up highly unrealistic financial targets. The desperation to achieve these made up targets has arrived. WF (Optimization) of 5% is on the move and threats of more forced people reductions if the contracts can't get to the fairy tale targets they made up. But hey at least we got raises right guys?

You can’t expect them to be able to continue to afford failed contracts with millions in losses. You sign a labor contract and labor cost go thru the roof due to poor requirements and lack of trained resources. Your requirements aren’t ironclad, contract terms open-ended and the cost to build or integrate is suddenly in the millions instead of thousands. My sympathy is for those who will now have to work incredible hours to support the contract failures and overruns. Of course, you have to layoff; the people who sold those deals have their money and are gone. C’est la vie!!
@johd+1hGLalyb were you on a Medicaid account?
I got laid off from Gainwell Technologies on July 7, 2022. They locked my account within 2 hours and wouldn't let me access anything. It was a definite layoff not firing.
Confirmed. I heard of several people that got let go last Friday, July 8.
Who wouldn't want to pay top dollar for a high maintenance, complex system based on 20 year old architecture that requires 24/7 human support.
Unfortunately, it does seem that the Gainwell execs are resorting to some of their old DXC bag of tricks. I find it disappointing that shades of DXC are beginning to appear across Gainwell.
