I haven't been here for a long time so I don't know. Has this company ever had as many people leaving as it has now??
It doesn't seem like the leadership is trying to stop or at least slow down attrition and I hope it won't be too late when they finally realize that they should do something about it.

Talent = skilled worker you knob.
Talent is leaving for greener pastures. ENB pasture is mud and manure and spilled oil.
Are these people going to Tesla, SpaceX, Apple, Microsoft? The word “talent” is thrown around like candy.
Talent would equal a C level role by your 40’s.
At a certain point in your career the contents of your resume don’t matter anymore.
Someone once said “Work only until you longer have to introduce yourself”
Field crews and Engineering.
Its no longer helpful to have oil and gas exp on your resume. Also eng firms are leaning into WFH very hard, and are scooping up talent left right and center. No surprise that the conservative, slow moving monstrosity of ENB is stuck in the past, losing talent to companies offering better pay and WFH.
Inflation is 9.1% in the US and CAN won't be far behind. Last I checked there was a 3% pay cut? You think ENB is giving people >12% raises across the board to simply keep up with inflation? Really no wonder people are leaving.
Who is leaving? What level?
Easiest to replace a $150K role vs a $500K role
Dying industry?
Doesn’t really apply to folks who are only years to retirement? Almost everyone I know that has worked in the industry retires by 55, especially VP and above), then they go on and sit on pretty lucrative board positions. High 6 figure income (7 figure for the C level), millions in shares, and a better than average pension. Why leave early?
I left this year for a better title, more pay and flexibility. Not sure why people would stay in a dying industry out of choice when there are better opportunities out there.
LoL 😂 real legends in the oil gas industry. True movers and shakers here!
Nobody has left from infrastructure planning or asset Performance so there is no need for leadership to take action. Action is reserved for mitigating loss. As long as IP and AP keep their full talent lineup then, loss does not exist.
