Everyone I know who was once laid off, is now in a much better position than most of us who are still here. If they hadn't been laid off, they would probably be one of the many long-term sufferers here now. Most of them now have bigger pay and less stress.
That's enough for me not to worry if I get laid off. Just my 2 cents.
