You are so right about ugly Belk and its business practice. The real problem is that as long as stupid customers keep on and continue to buy skincares, make up, shoes, shirts suits or whatever clearance items at Belk then the company will try survive and make profit money out of ignoramus customers! You get my point!
Belk doesn’t care who is behind the counter! They just want a body. They don’t care if you know make up or skincare but you better make numbers. If the customers only knew half of what the employees went thru they wouldn’t shop there. It’s not like it use to be

No Clinique isn’t pulling out, which is evident by current business and also adding headcount. Not even sure why that’s a question.
Cosmetic giant Revlon company just filed and declared Chapter 11 bankcruptcy just last month June 16, 2022. You think Belk cosmetic sinking Titanic is going to do any better? It is time to look at your pathetic business plans and your dark future before you cry and mess up your Belk mascara and make up! Enough said!

Nothing at Belk is as it seems. Just remember that Belk is close to $1.9 billion in debt, and store sales are down considerably. The CEO bailed out with little to no notice, along with some other executives. It is a complete disaster. I see another bankruptcy/liquidation on the horizon. Also, Sycamore Partners lost one of the founding members A few weeks ago, he left to start his own company. It’s just one thing after another.
Why would you think this, Belk just put alot of money into hiring more into Clinique and Estée Lauder to build it back to the teams we had before covid. What is happening in your stores in the cosmetic areas l, for all who wish to respond.
