Pay gap

I have no information on how the pay gap between the salaries of those at the top and the employees grew over the years.
It would probably be very shocking to see how that gap grew bigger and bigger over time? What's worse, I think that it will continue to grow.

Has Mike got a raise from $21million to $28million? ie gone from $13million to $21million to $28million?

If so that's 50% the year before, and another 33% on such big amounts.

If he finds them reasonable raises i wonder what % does he think reasonable for people on lower pay?

Great job being a CEO in charge of a sinking ship $28 million to plunge the company further and further into dying.

It gets better still...2022:

https://sec.report/Document/0001193125-22-173006/

"In accordance with the Pay Ratio Rule, we calculated the median employee’s annual total compensation in the same manner as the CEO’s annual total compensation was calculated in the fiscal 2022 Summary Compensation Table. Our previously identified median employee, determined using cost-of-living adjustments, resides in the Philippines. The annual total compensation of the median employee was $44,156. The total compensation of Mr. Salvino, our CEO, was $28,716,680, the amount reported in the “Total” column of the Summary Compensation Table.

Accordingly, the ratio of the annual total compensation of our CEO to the annual total compensation of our median employee was 650:1. Without the application of cost-of-living adjustments, the previously identified median employee resides in India. The annual total compensation of the median employee was $31,294, resulting in a ratio of 918:1*"

The ration in 2021 was 511:1. How can Salvino talk about DXC values when the ratio is that obscene?

The last reported (2021) ceo to median worker pay ratio was 511:1

2020: 456:1
2019: 415:1
2018: 404:1

These are figures DXC has to publicly publish via the SEC.

You can find them here: https://www.salary.com/tools/executive-compensation-calculator/dxc-technology-co-executive-salaries?year=2021

This is a matter of public record, not rumour or insider knowledge ;-)

And yes, its terrible. Its out there amongst the largest corporate pay gaps.

We are developing an API based cloud enabled application module as part of Platform-X-X which will monitor these type of salary discrepancies - already have an offering and sold this to multiple fortune 500 companies - we will do the same internally. Please be patient
